Application Process

Two positions are available each year in Temple’s two-year Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Program. Interested physicians must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Program (ERAS) in July. To apply, visit the ERAS website.

Eligible applications will be considered based on their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communication skills and personal qualities, such as motivation and integrity. Applicants being considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Temple in February or March for an interview, in-depth program overview and meetings with current fellows and faculty in preparation for the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) in May. Invitations, interview confirmations, and other correspondence will be sent via email.
