Anjali Vaidya, MD, FACC, FASE, FACP
Co-Director, Temple Pulmonary Hypertension, Right Heart Failure, and CTEPH Program

Dr. Vaidya is internationally recognized for her expertise in all forms of PH and Right Heart Failure, including refined skill in using echocardiography to assess, monitor, and offer individually tailored therapy to patients with this complex disease. A premier educator, mentor and published researcher, she is the recipient of numerous teaching awards and has extensive experience in helping patients with PH and Right Heart Failure, including CTEPH and other subtypes. She has been invited to speak nationally and internationally on Pulmonary Hypertension to further educate physicians’ understanding and knowledge of how to care for these complex patients. Paul Forfia, MD
Co-Director, Temple Pulmonary Hypertension, Right Heart Failure, and CTEPH Program

Dr. Forfia is internationally recognized for his expertise in the use of echocardiographic interpretation to differentiate between arterial and non-arterial causes of PH. His innovative research in the physiologic assessment of PH has broadly influenced the PH academic and clinical community across generations. This discriminating interpretation allows accurate and efficient diagnostic assessments, avoids unnecessary cardiac catheterizations, and streamlines follow-up testing and treatment. Dr. Forfia is also a leader in the application of exercise physiology, and the invasive CPET examination in the assessment of PH and complex causes of dyspnea. He founded the Temple PH, Right Heart Failure, and CTEPH program after serving as the Director of PH at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ahmed Sadek MD

Dr. Sadek joined the Temple Pulmonary Hypertension, Right Heart Failure, and CTEPH Program after completing extensive training under the mentorship of Drs. Vaidya & Forfia. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Cardiology Fellowship at Temple University, and Advanced Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplant Fellowship at the University of Michigan prior to his Pulmonary Hypertension Fellowship at Temple. His interests include echocardiography in pulmonary hypertension, right heart catheterization with invasive cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and inpatient critical care cardiology with emphasis on pulmonary hypertension, right heart failure and CTEPH.

Mohammed Chowdhury MD

Dr. Chowdhury is extensively trained in Pulmonary Hypertension and Advanced Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplant. He completed his Heart Failure Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Burke Advanced Fellowship in Pulmonary Heart Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard University. His PhD is in Health Sciences, integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in cardiovascular medicine, with a focus on teaching, research, and healthcare leadership.
