Residents prepare an annual project for presentation at the annual Matthew T. Moore Neurology Conference which takes place in June. They also participate in a yearly Quality Improvement/Patient Safety Program and that is presented during Grand Rounds. Our residents are encouraged to participate in research and often present this research at local or national meetings.
Each resident is expected to prepare a research topic under the supervision of a preceptor. This is to be presented at the end of each academic year to the faculty. In most cases, the research can lead to a more longitudinal project and presentation at local and national neurological conferences and publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
