GogineniPreethi Gogineni, MD
Medical School – Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University
Residency – Temple University Hospital

"I did my medicine residency at Temple and I had no doubt I would get great clinical training here. There is incredible exposure to common but also complex and nuanced cases that will push you to be a confident physician. You get to work with an amazing team who is committed to teaching and to the Temple mission of bringing the most advanced care to our unique North Philadelphia population."

RemyRemy Mimms, DO
Medical School – Rowan University of Osteopathic Medicine
Residency – Morristown Medical Center

"There are obviously a lot of factors that come into play when considering where to go for fellowship. For me, Temple is unique in what it offers, which includes a dedicated and nurturing faculty and staff, collegial approach in a multidisciplinary environment, strong academic focus and diverse clinical experience. It has been a privilege for me to live amongst and learn from our population of patients. And that I can share this experience with my co-fellows, who are amazing, has made this all the better."

ShahKunal Shah, MD
Medical School – Rutgers New Jersey Medical School
Residency – Hahnemann University Hospital

"I chose Temple after transitioning as a former fellow from Hahnemann after the hospital closed down. I was welcomed in with open arms and it feels like family here. Could not be happier with my training as the program is the perfect mix between clinical training, unique and interesting cases, and tons of educational learning opportunities and conferences. The mentorship at Temple has allowed me to grow and develop as a budding endocrinologist and if I had to do it all over again, there's zero doubt that I would choose Temple again."

Class of 2022

NeelamNeelam Upadhyaya, MD
Medical School – Rutgers New Jersey Medical School
Residency – Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

"I chose Temple because the hospital’s mission to serve the Philadelphia population as a safety-net hospital really resonated with me. I also wanted a place where I would get strong clinical training and see a breadth of endocrine pathology. In addition to the great cases I have seen thus far, Temple also offers the benefit of working with wonderful people. The faculty and my co-fellows are not only great teachers and role models, but they are also very supportive and welcoming. I look forward to learning from and working with them every day."

ManasaManasa Veluru, MD
Medical School - Osmania Medical College
Residency – Medstar Washington Hospital Center

"I chose Temple because of the strong clinical training it has. Though it has been just a month into my training, I was quite impressed by the diversity of the patient population with excellent mix of pathology and all kinds of demographics. I loved the camaraderie between the faculty and the fellows and the welcoming environment of Philly.  The faculty are extremely supportive and flexible for fellow needs. Besides the great clinical training, the program also has strong interactive didactics which I believe will make me a confident endocrinologist with good teaching skills that I can carry forward."
