  • Endocrine Consult Service at Temple University Hospital – Main Campus
  • Endocrine Consult Service at Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus
  • Fellow Continuity Clinics
    • 1 Diabetes clinic per week
    • 1 General Endocrinology clinic per week
  • Thyroid Ultrasound and FNA clinic
  • Faculty run subspecialty clinics at main campus and satellites
  • Within Temple rotations
    • Endocrine Surgery
    • Gestational Diabetes
    • Transgender Medicine
  • Temple Health and affiliated rotations
    • Fox Chase Cancer Center (Thyroid cancer and other endocrine cancers)
    • Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Pediatric Endocrinology) 
    • Reproductive Endocrinology site

Educational Programs

  • Mondays 12- 1PM: Journal Club
  • Tuesdays 12-1 PM: Clinical Case Conference
    • Including once a month clinical guidelines conference
  • Wednesday 7-8AM monthly multidisciplinary pituitary conference
  • Wednesday 12-1 PM monthly multidisciplinary thyroid/parathyroid conference
  • Wednesday 12-1 PM: Medicine Grand Rounds on other weeks
  • Thursdays 7-8AM: Fellows Core Curriculum Lecture Series
  • Thursdays 12-1 PM: Endocrine Grand Rounds

 

Research Experience

  • Fellows are assigned a research mentor their first year - fellows work with various faculty and their mentor on research projects as well as interesting cases
  • Research time is given in blocks if a fellow has interest in a major research project
  • Fellows are expected to present research results and/or interesting cases at national conferences
  • Fellows are expected to actively participate in quality improvement and/or performance improvement projects.
