The Center for Asian Health conducts research addressing a wide range of health issues grounded in scientifically identified population and community concerns. In collaboration with a broad network of community, institutional, and clinical partners, the Center focuses on key areas of health disparity research, including cancer, tobacco use, cardiovascular and chronic diseases, integrative health, and global health.
These research efforts are strengthened by the active involvement of junior researchers, community stakeholders, and clinical professionals to ensure that findings directly contribute to reducing health disparities and improving overall community health.
Research at the Center spans epidemiological studies, community-based participatory projects, large-scale randomized trials, and patient-centered outcome programs. This work enhances understanding of health behaviors and informs the development and implementation of effective prevention, patient navigation, and intervention strategies.
