Mission Statement

To support and guide disadvantaged Asian minority youth in finding balance professionally, academically, spiritually and athletically.

Why We Exist

Asian Americans are often labeled as perfect and high achieving due to the model minority myth. This is completely false. Asian American families often face language barriers, mental health challenges, and difficulty navigating life in America. This mentoring program is designed to help Asian American minority youth achieve their dreams. Most importantly, to learn to balance their lives and be happy during their journeys to success whatever that may look like.

How We Operate

People who are interested in having a mentor through LOTUS will fill out the following form in order to match them to the most compatible mentor. Mentors will reach out and coordinate with mentees on mentoring plans whether that is talking weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
