Temple Clinical Research Center (TCRI) Showcases New Home

News November 05, 2014

Several dozen Temple Health faculty, residents, students, and staff visited Kresge Hall on October 28th to attend an Open House for the Temple Clinical Research Institute (TCRI) – an infrastructure of expertise and resources specifically designed to facilitate and accelerate multidisciplinary clinical research of the highest quality throughout Temple’s healthcare enterprise.

TCRI’s new home on the second floor of Kresge (formerly occupied by the Old Medical School Library) now offers one convenient, central location where Temple’s clinical researchers can go to receive support for every step in their research projects – from conceptualization to data collection to dissemination of study results.

“Biostatistical consultation, bioinformatics support, clinical research administration – everything you need to get a grant and conduct quality research efficiently will be here,” said Susan Fisher, MS, PhD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences, Associate Dean of Clinical Research, and Director of TCRI. “The Institute’s faculty and staff offer a range of expertise to support all aspects of clinical research – including education, development, implementation, alliances, regulatory affairs, and community partnerships,” she added.
