Youth Leadership Training Program
Generation of Youth Leadership (GOAL), a youth leadership council, was established in 2000 to encourage adolescents to participate in the Center's region-wide anti-tobacco, risk behavior prevention and health promotion effort. GOAL teaches and mentors youth with skills in project design, planning, and implementation. The council meets once a month to plan community and school-based health activities for youth. Center youth partners are encouraged to apply for mini- and small-grants to implement innovative community- or school-based projects. To participate in GOAL activities, or to become a member of the council, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 215-787-5434.
