Research Interests
Current pedagogy research interests include: increasing student efficacy and self-reliant learning strategies, STEM identity, student experiences and success, and the effects of institutional practices on society. My personal mission is to ensure students across all schools of medicine at Temple University feel welcomed, supported, encouraged, and actively engaged in their educational journeys both at Temple and beyond.
My basic science research interests include understanding sarcomeric protein turnover, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, exercise interventions, and cardiac immunology.
