In my free time: I like to cook new recipes, especially ones I think I can replicate from a restaurant. I love hanging out with my friends and checking out different restaurants, playing board games, or playing volleyball through Heyday Philadelphia. I’m a huge soccer fan and an avid Arsenal supporter, so at times I'll catch matches at the Arsenal supporters bar in Center city. I also read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy books when I can.

Favorite Thing About Temple: Honestly, the people. My co-residents are not only incredible people, but also supportive and genuinely fun to be around. Some of my closest friends now are people I met here. Also, the attendings and ancillary staff are also very easy to work with and everyone is eager to help you.

Favorite thing about Philly: There’s always something happening in Philly. It’s a great sports town with a lot of passion behind the teams (check out our residency fantasy football league every year). Each neighborhood has a ton of personality and is fun to explore. Philly has an amazing food scene—definitely worth keeping a few on the list every time restaurant week comes around. Whether you’re a foodie, a sports fan, or someone who enjoys a casual stroll through historic streets, Philly has something for everyone.

Fun fact: I was a 2nd degree black belt in tae-kwon-do. I used to compete in martial arts tournaments and brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions. I almost won something.
