Thank you for your interest in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Chestnut Hill Hospital. On behalf of our residents, faculty, program leadership, and clinical teams, it is my pleasure to welcome you to a community-focused training environment in Philadelphia where residents learn through close mentorship, meaningful responsibility, and service to a diverse patient population.

Chestnut Hill Hospital has a long-standing commitment to serving the healthcare needs of its Northwest Philadelphia community, and its educational mission is strengthened by its alliance with the Temple Health System. Our goal is to develop outstanding internists who deliver equitable, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. Our residents gain broad exposure to inpatient and outpatient medicine, subspecialty care, interprofessional teamwork, quality improvement, and the day-to-day realities of caring for patients in the community hospital setting.
