How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in the Integrated Interventional Radiology residency program at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.  All positions will be filled through the NRMP by participation in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) through the Association of American Medical College (AAMC).

Application Requirements for the Interventional Radiology Residency Program:

  • Apply through ERAS
  • Application includes:
    • Medical school transcript
    • Personal statement
    • Letters of Recommendation
      • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)/Dean’s letter
      • Three additional letters of recommendation from faculty members who have worked with you
    • Curriculum Vitae
    • USMLE scores
      • Step 1: Required for application
      • Step 2: Preferred for application

Interview and Selection Procedure

  • Interviews will take place from November 2020 through January 2021.
    • For candidates applying to both the Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology residency programs at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, applications will be reviewed and considered separately for each program.
      • For candidates interviewing for both the Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology residency programs, interviews can be coordinated between programs and require only one interview day for both programs.
  • If invited for an interview, you can be notified via the email address you supplied through ERAS.
