The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers a fully approved four-year residency program in combined anatomic pathology and clinical pathology. The program is designed for the training of academic or community hospital-based pathologists. It recognizes the need for a graded increase in resident responsibility over the course of training and has the flexibility to meet individual needs and special interests. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities in the Department for clinical or basic research. In addition to service activities, residents actively participate in the education of medical students.
