Simulation Center Training

The Department of Anesthesiology provides an exciting and innovative simulation-based learning curriculum for their resident physicians at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University’s William Maul Measey Institute For Clinical Simulation And Patient Safety. Faculty members trained as simulation instructors, using the latest technology, challenge residents with routine perioperative and emergent clinical scenarios designed to prepare them for entry into the field of anesthesiology. Residents augment their clinical training with skills-based simulations in advanced regional techniques, fiberoptic bronchoscopy, vascular access, and surgical airways.
