About Dr. Giannone:
Dr. Giannone is a PGY-1 resident. Prior to medical school, he spent 4 years working in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, 1 year of which was spent working in the laboratory of Gregory Beatty, MD, PhD. He contributed to research on the tumor micro-environment and immunology of pancreatic cancer. He is interested in pursuing a career in General Surgery with a particular interest in Surgical Oncology.
