How to Apply

Temple’s Fellowship Program participates in the National Residency Matching Program. Details on the match can be obtained from the NRMP’s website at

Applications are accepted from July 1 thru August 15. Interviews typically occur in September and October.

Please send your application through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service)

A complete application package consists of all requirements in ERAS common application form (CAF) including:

  • Medical school transcript
  • USMLE Transcripts (Steps 1,2 and 3)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the Chair or Program Director of the applicant’s residency program.

Although we have 4 first year fellowship positions, only 3 are filled thru the NRMP. The last position is guaranteed to the Motility Fellow of the prior year.
