Due to a power outage, the Medical Education and Research Building (MERB), Medical Education Building (MRB), and Kresge currently have limited power and no network (internet) access.

There will be no in-person classes on the North Philadelphia campus on October 13, 2026. Classes normally held in MERB, MRB, and Kresge will be held virtually. Education programs will communicate specific instructions regarding class schedules and any other affected activities.

Employees who work in these buildings and have remote work arrangements are expected to work from home. Employees who are unable to work remotely should contact their supervisor to discuss a work plan or use of paid time off.

Essential personnel are expected to report to work as required by departmental needs and should confirm reporting instructions with their supervisor.

Temple University Health System (TUHS) is not affected by this outage and all clinical rotations and duties will proceed as scheduled.
