Research Interests

Dr. Gao is primarily responsible for mouse, rat and rabbit physiology and gene delivery to rats, rabbits and pigs. He is responsible and extensively trained in cardiac physiology and cardiac surgery, specifically in rat and mouse models such as myocardial infarction.
