The Lemole Center for Integrated Lymphatics and Vascular Research is at the forefront of studying the lymphatic system’s critical role in health and disease. Our work brings together cardiovascular, molecular, and cell scientists, immunologists, neurologists, and vascular biologists to explore how the lymphatic and vascular systems interact to influence conditions like heart disease, neurodegeneration, inflammation, and metabolic disorders.
Founded through the vision of Dr. Gerald M. Lemole, MD '62, a pioneer in holistic cardiovascular care, we believe that medical breakthroughs happen when dedicated changemakers collaborate across disciplines to advance science for the collective good. Our faculty includes world-renowned scientists and rising innovators who work across Temple University, Temple University Hospital, and national research institutions.
