Temple University School of Medicine Ranked Fourth in Nation for Number of Applicants by US News & World Report

Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM) has again been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the most popular medical schools in the nation in terms of applications received. TUSM received 10,980 applications for the 2013-2014 year, the fourth-highest total in the nation, up from sixth last year.
 
“Temple University School of Medicine has such a rich tradition for attracting a wonderfully diverse student body with a real commitment to connecting with our community and to serving others,” said Audrey Uknis, MD, Senior Associate Dean for Admissions and Strategy at Temple’s School of Medicine.
 
“In addition to being drawn to our collaborative learning environment and our caring faculty, applicants know that Temple has a reputation for an unbeatable clinical experience,” she added.
