The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) has once again been ranked as one of the top research-oriented medical schools in the nation on the 2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools list. The U.S. News rankings are based on a multifactorial assessment of 140 allopathic and 30 osteopathic medical schools across the United States.

LKSOM earned its ranking by exhibiting excellence in a number of measures, including reputation among peer institutions and residency program directors, research activity, student admission selectivity and faculty resources.
