RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying vascular inflammation and cardiometabolic diseases, with a particular emphasis on atherosclerosis. I investigate how G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), immune signaling, mitochondrial function, and lipid metabolism regulate endothelial dysfunction, vascular inflammation, and disease progression. My research integrates transcriptomics, metabolomics, single-cell analysis, and experimental mouse models to identify novel therapeutic targets for cardiovascular disease. I am also interested in the transcriptomic mechanisms underlying biological sex differences in inflammatory and cardiovascular diseases, aiming to better understand sex-specific molecular regulation and its implications for disease pathogenesis and therapeutic development.
