It’s hard to be what you don’t see, and not everybody has a doctor in their family. The goal of the program is to show them that you can be a doctor, you can go into medicine, you can be a part of the healthcare field.

What You'll Do

During your week in Temple’s Mini Medical School, you’ll:

  • Work through interactive workshops that mirror medical school labs and lectures
  • Practice essential skills in health and science
  • Learn how to prepare for college and health-related careers
  • Get one-on-one time with doctors, medical students, and pre-med college mentors
  • Build lasting connections with peers who share your goals

  • Entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students
