About the Residency

Chestnut Hill Hospital Podiatric Residency offers a 3-year PMSR/RRA Podiatric Medicine Residency program, fully accredited by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education. The residency program is directed by Dr. Albert Mosheyev with the assistant director Dr. Terrence Dunn. Residents work with both podiatric and orthopedic surgeons at Chestnut Hill Hospital. Podiatry residents scrub all ankle fractures, achilles ruptures, ankle scopes, etc. Arthroscopic ankle model available to practice freely. We hold monthly saw bone workshops and a monthly cadaver lab. A smaller hospital environment affords opportunities for “hands on” training with attendings from vascular, plastic, orthopedic, and podiatric surgeons. Voluntary non-podiatric cases with those specialties are available. Close relationship with medical attendings such as infectious disease and radiology willing to lecture. Monthly journal club. Weekly academics includes case reviews, resident/student lectures, surgical videos, and journal article discussions. Research methodology covered in curriculum and opportunities for research with clinical faculty.
