Temple University School of Medicine Ranked Among Top Medical Schools in the Nation by US News & World Report

Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM) is once again listed as one of the top research-oriented medical schools in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools 2015 rankings.
 
Temple had the second-highest ranking of all medical schools in Philadelphia and the third-highest in the state. The U.S. News rankings are based on a multifactorial assessment of 128 allopathic and 25 osteopathic medical schools across the United States.
 
TUSM earned its ranking by exhibiting excellence in a number of measures, including student admission selectivity, reputation among peer institutions and residency directors, and research activity. The School attracted nearly $91 million in National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants in 2013, an average of $161,800 per faculty member.
