Research Interests
My research program focuses on combining cross-discipline techniques in the study of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) during HIV infection, substance abuse, and mechanical injury (Traumatic Brain Injury). One aspect of these endeavors involves the generation of new models of the BBB.
