Admissions

All applicants to the Physician Assistant program must apply through CASPA (Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants). Once CASPA receives transcripts from all schools attended, they will verify all coursework listed on the application. After the coursework is verified and at least two letters of recommendation have been received by CASPA, they will release your application materials to the LKSOM Physician Assistant program.  Additionally, applicants must complete the Temple University Graduate Application. Applications will not be considered complete until the applicant has a “verified” CASPA status with Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and has submitted the Temple University Graduate application.

Both the CASPA and Temple University Graduate Application must be submitted, completed, and verified no later than January 15, 2025.  As this is a self-managed process, applicants are expected to monitor the status and submission and receipt of all application materials to CASPA through the CASPA applicant portal.  Applicants who did not complete both applications by the deadline will have a final status of “withdrawn incomplete” and will not be considered for admission.

As CASPA processing may take up to 6 weeks, we strongly recommend that all application materials be received by CASPA by December 1, 2024. There will be no deadline extensions for incomplete applications.

Fair Practice in Admissions
