Admissions

Applicants for the traditional Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree complete the following:

First, the CASPA (Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants) and then the $60 Temple University Graduate Application Fee. .   All materials must be submitted, completed, and verified no later than January 15 for enrollment in Summer I term (June) of the same year.

However, because it can take at least six weeks for the CASPA service to receive and verify required transcripts, letters of reference, and other materials, it is recommended that applicants complete the forms and requirements by December 1 of the year prior to the January 15 deadline.

** NOTE: Deadline extensions for incomplete applications are not available. **

Once the requirements have been met in CASPA, the service will verify your application status and release your application materials to the LKSOM Physician Assistant Program.

Since this is a self-managed application process, please monitor your application’s status (including receipt of required materials) through the CASPA applicant portal to ensure your application materials are submitted by the January 15 deadline. Applicants who did not submit  both the CASPA and $60 Temple Graduate Application Fee  by the deadline will have a final status of “withdrawn incomplete” and will not be considered for admission.
