Katz has invested significantly in the development of core facilities that support the needs of researchers across academic disciplines. Katz cores, also known as service centers, are available to investigators throughout the Temple University and Temple Health system, as well as to extramural researchers. The individual core websites listed below summarize the opportunities Katz provides for your research. Katz scientists have access to more information on the services on the Katz portal. Non-Katz scientists should contact the managers. 

In other Katz resources, the Biostatistics & Epidemiology Resource provides key expertise in statistical analysis, underlying the performance of rigorous clinical and translational studies. In addition, Katz researchers have access to core resources at our affiliated Fox Chase Cancer Center, and at the Moulder Center in the School of Pharmacy. Support for research with animal models is provided through the University Laboratory Animal Resource.

It is important to recognize core facility contributions to the scientific advancement of the projects. Katz research leaders encourage all researchers to acknowledge the work performed in any of our core facilities in papers, reports, presentations, posters, and other publications. Interactions with the Katz cores scientists will often be collaborative with facility leadership or staff.
