Dr. Brann's previous appointments included Assistant Professor of Surgery, Attending cardiovascular surgeon and Surgical Director, Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Temple University Hospital (2009-2012). Dr. Brann also held the prestigious national appointment as the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Region 2, Minority Affairs Representative (2010-2012). He is a well-published surgeon-researcher and has presented scientific work both nationally and internationally.
