An Outstanding Faculty
The 33 clinical faculty and 5 basic science faculty members in Temple’s Department of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery are excellent clinicians and dedicated educators who create an environment of inquiry and scholarship. The department prides itself on its collegiality, team-based approach to care, and low turnover rate. This helps fellows lay the foundation for a successful career as clinicians while also fostering academic growth through exploration of research and educational opportunities. Faculty members represent a broad range of subspecialization and regularly lead and participate in groundbreaking research in search of better treatments.
