Community Engagement

We appreciate that our role as healthcare providers is to help build stronger communities.  Our Community Engagement initiative helps our residents extend their efforts beyond the walls of our hospital and clinic.  Together with various local organizations and non-profit programs, our residents connect with community members to improve health promotion, implement change, and foster partnerships.  Residents identify areas of need or follow their special interests and engage in volunteering activities through the year.   Residents work alongside these organizations to advocate and empower our neighbors in a million different ways.  Our hope is that our Community Engagement will help build trust, inclusivity and promote social equity for our community’s members.

Some of our volunteering sites include:

  • Friends of the Wissahickon
  • MANNA
