Naida Elena Burgos
Naida Elena Burgos is the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Temple University Center for Bioethics, Urban Health and Policy. As the former Neighborhood Advisory Committee Coordinator at the Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, she has extensive experience serving as a liaison between community residents and City agencies to increase meaningful connections among community stakeholders. Prior to holding the position as NAC Coordinator at APM, Naida was a Community Connector working to implement outreach initiatives in the Eastern North Philadelphia community. Naida also worked as a Youth Worker and program developer at the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association to support the after school and summer programs at the site. Naida has also dedicated time serving communities in North Philadelphia, Equatorial Guinea Africa, Guatemala, Costa Rica and El Salvador through several volunteer service trips and internships. Naida holds a Masters degree in International Development from Eastern University, a Bachelor of Arts from Arcadia University and two Associate Degrees from the Community College of Philadelphia. She is proud to call Philadelphia home.
