Kathleen Reeves, MD – Director, CBUHP
Kathleen Reeves, MD, Director of CBUHP, is the inaugural Senior Associate Dean of the new Office of Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, after having served as Associate Dean and Senior Associate Dean in Student Affairs from 2003 to 2015. Dr. Reeves is also member of the pediatric faculty at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital, attended medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in philosophy and religious studies from Juniata College in Pennsylvania. She was the first program director of the Pediatric Residency Program at Crozer Chester Hospital in Upland, PA. Committed to community health issues, Dr. Reeves believes that in order to be effective, health professionals need to embrace a broad definition of health that includes the impact of social, economic, cultural and environmental issues. Her teaching has been recognized with awards from the University of Cincinnati, Crozer Keystone Health System, Temple University, and Hahnemann/MCP School of Medicine.
